ASSESSMENT OF STUDENT WORK
Assessment of an artist's work is a large part of the artistic process. Art criticism teaches students to make meaningful decisions in their own art work and to be thoughtful viewers of a work of art. Students will participate in both self reflection and classroom critiques of their peers in addition to my assessment of their final projects.
Student's grades will be based on in-class projects (75%) and activities/homework (25%).
